DEAR STARLIGHT...
My son was hospitalized for six weeks with severe burns on his body. He was extremely depressed and didn't want to eat or drink. When the nurse wheeled in a Starlight Fun Center he felt better in just a few minutes and kept busy, making his treatments go much smoother and become bearable.
He couldn't wait to get back to watching a movie or playing a game and the hours went by fast. Thank you, Starlight, for helping my son through this very difficult time.

The Tuttles Retail Version Released, Supported By Facebook Contest
The Tuttles will soon hit retail outlets. The hybrid PC/Mac retail version of the animated arcade-style game is a first-of-its kind national fundraising campaign, with fifty percent of the retail proceeds coming back to Starlight. Simultaneously, downloadable Mac, Flash, widget and Facebook application versions of The Tuttles have launched, with a Facebook “Friends” promotional contest designed to help spread the word about the fundraiser.
Ten Sony Cyber-shot DSC-N2 digital cameras, each with an MSRP of $449.95, will be given away as part of the Facebook “Friends” promotion. Participants must add The Tuttles Sweepstakes Facebook application to their profile, then can answer questions about the game and invite “friends” in their Facebook social network to add the application. Participants will receive one entry when they submit their answers and an additional entry for every friend they invite that accepts and downloads The Tuttles Sweepstakes Facebook application. Camera winners will be randomly drawn from all entries received by May 22, 2008.
Add the Facebook application, enter the sweepstakes, and invite your friends and family on Facebook to do the same! Check it out at http://apps.facebook.com/legacygames. (Join Starlight's profile on Facebook as well by clicking here.)
STARLIGHT CHILDREN'S GALLERY

Children are always dreaming about what they want to be when they grow up. Starlight children are no different. Thankfully, recent advances in medical care mean that more and more of the seriously ill children Starlight serves will have the chance to celebrate a 25th birthday. As an organization that supports families from the time their children are diagnosed throughout their journey with illness, it brings tears to our eyes to see so many Starlight children who were once so very sick win their fight, grow into adulthood and make their dreams come true.
As we celebrate the 25th Anniversary of our organization, we asked Starlight children and their siblings to share with us their hopes for the future. The artwork that they created is now online at www.starlight.org/WhenIm25.
